World AIDS Day



December 1st is World AIDS Day. Seize the day to learn about HIV/AIDS in Sub-Saharan Africa. Visit the following websites, and spread the word!

According to a new World Health Organization and UNAIDS estimate, more than two million AIDS-related deaths were reported globally in 2008, and two million children under the age of 15 now live with HIV. Studies also estimate that the number of new HIV infections has declined by about 17% since 2001. Still, for every five people infected, only two start treatment.
